About Evelio Fleitas:

Hi, my name is Evelio Fleitas and health and fitness is my passion. So, I’ll start by telling you a little bit about myself.

In high school, I earned 1st team all league and optimist honors in both baseball and football. It was also in high school where I hired my first personal trainer who began to teach me how to exercise and eat properly. With the skills that I had acquired from him, I soon helped a few of my personal friends lose over 30 lbs which completely changed their body and overall self image.

After high school I attended college, where I continued to play baseball. It was there where I suffered an injury which ended up sidelining my baseball career. Since baseball was no longer an option, I then followed my other passion and began working as a personal trainer while still attending college.

I continued to educate myself in many different areas of health; from nutrition to sports performance training. I have been blessed with the opportunity of being able to train professional athletes, as well as helping average everyday individuals accomplish their fitness goals. These accomplishments have honored me with a recent nomination for a National Award for personal training.

I established my own business called “Titan Personal Training” which operates out of Powerhouse Gym In Placerville, California. At “Titan” we have acquired top level personal trainers with diverse backgrounds so that we can ensure that we have a trainer to accommodate most everyone’s needs.

It is my passion to help as many people that I can accomplish their fitness goals, and if you feel that you could use some help, I assure you that we have a trainer that’s perfect for you.

Testimonials:

By: Debbie Brock, Antelope, CA

"I began training with Evelio in May, 2005. At that time I was 65 pounds heavier, seven dress sizes larger, and was suffering from a shoulder injury and constant back pain due to birth defects (spina bifida and scoliosis). I had not trained in 15 years and was told by my doctor that I would be severely limited physically in any exercise program I attempted.

From my first day of training, Evelio has never believed that my limitations should restrict me from training to my full potential. His favorite word is “modify!” Because of my physical handicaps, I cannot train like his other clients but I have never left a training session feeling as if I didn’t get a full workout. That alone is a great testament to his extensive knowledge and ability to think on his feet.

Evelio began by working on my shoulder injury that I received in a car accident in 1990. Since the accident I had suffered from pain and restricted movement. Within one month, with the help of Dr. Zawada and as the result of Evelio’s training and stretching routines, I had full range of motion and no pain. I no longer can even remember how bad my shoulder was.

Then we began working on my core and weak back. This was very frustrating for me as I strived to train harder than my body would allow. Evelio always kept me within my boundaries while pushing me when appropriate. There have been many nights when I wasn’t sure I could finish my workout because of back pain. This never stopped Evelio from figuring out some kind of exercise that I could successfully complete. I remember one night when I had bad low back spasms, Evelio redesigned every exercise so I didn’t further hurt my back and, at the same time, game me a full training session. It was the first time I ever did bicep curls and lateral shoulder raises while lying on my back with my feet on the wall. As I said, his favorite word is “modify!”

Today about one third of my workouts are devoted to strengthening my core and low back. Dr. Zawada has witnessed some of my training sessions and is amazed at what I am now capable of doing. I give Evelio 100% credit for getting me to such a great place physically. His constant faith in me, his ability to design a customized program just for me, and, when my back is painful, his knowledge that enables him to modify my routine has guaranteed my success.

I would strongly recommend Evelio as a trainer and have done so without reservation many times. I cannot begin to explain the positive effect Evelio has had in my life and would be proud to personally share many more experiences with anyone who is interested in listening."

How to Lose Weight and Keep it Off

In my quest as a personal trainer, I have come across many different diets and health programs and have worked with thousands of people. Here is what I have found…

#1 You Must Start NOW!!

Everyone says that they need to exercise and get healthy, but rarely does someone take action towards their goal. Start today even if that means going for a walk. Begin to create momentum.

#2 Start With Something That You Enjoy and Keep Your Goals Realistic.

Too big of goals or commitments can seem overwhelming.

#3 Mix it Up.

Our bodies are designed to acclimate to what we do. If you keep doing the same thing over and over again, you will stop seeing results

#4 Eat Right.

In my opinion 80-90% of your success will come from what you eat and how you eat it. Find a HEALTHY plan that works for you.

#5 Get Professional Help.

If you look at studies of those that get professional help opposed to those that don’t, you’ll be amazed.

Last time I looked at the study, those that hired a personal trainer kept working out for at least 3 years. Those that didn’t got frustrated after approximately 3 months and quit.

There is a misconception that personal training is expensive. You can get a personal trainer for as low as $25 per month and get a program that’s tailored towards your needs.

So, in conclusion… get off the computer now and go do something!!!
