Fit for Life opened in 1993 to serve the fitness needs of everyday people. Our vision for our members is to provide a comfortable place to workout and feel better, yet have an avenue for a social network, if they choose. We offer group classes, social and support groups, and clubs. We also are offering online social networking with Twitter, Facebook, and MySpace. Our Members:We are very proud to be a non-intimidating gym; with a diverse membership base... from singles, to families, to seniors. Over 60 percent of our members are women, and 40 percent are over the age of 55. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in the mid-mornings, we have senior group classes and many of our senior members meet to socialize and workout together. Many members that commute to work, come to workout either first thing in the morning or after work in the evening. We open at 4:30 AM, just for those members that want to workout before their commute to work. We stay open until 10:00 PM, for those members that enjoy working out later. Involved in our Community:We strive to be involved in our community by donating to local charitable organizations and participating and sponsoring many local events.
